My name is Fida. I earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and managed agricultural pests for 14 years. In 2010, while living in Brooklyn, I experienced frustration keeping bedbugs, cockroaches, and rats out of my apartment. This inspired me to use my expertise to manage household pests at home. During the process, I quickly learned that I had to share my knowledge and experience with others. This was the birth of Best@Pest.
We are now among the leaders in pest management in New York and New Jersey.
But pest control wasn’t just about eliminating creepy crawlies for me. It was about bringing peace of mind to people. So, I built the Best Pest Supply Center, making sure everyone had access to the tools and knowledge needed to fight back against unwanted guests. And to take it a step further, I founded NYC Pest Management School, training the next generation of pest control heroes!
Now, when I’m not battling bugs myself, I’m sharing my knowledge as a certified and approved Pest Control Instructor by the New York State DEC. My expertise stretches across the field, with certifications in Categories 7A, 7F, 7C, 7G, 5B, 3A, and 8, meaning I can tackle just about any critter challenge that comes my way.
And you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way. Seeing a relieved smile on a client’s face after their home is pest-free, or witnessing a student grasp a complex entomological concept – those are the things that fuel my fire.
